Auto-pairing in nvALT
Most TextMate users are probably familiar with auto-pairing. It’s a very smart feature that lets you quickly wrap groups of words in brackets, parentheses, quotation marks, and other punctuation.
Beginning with version 2.1, nvALT has it, too, but it’s not turned on by default.
Auto-pairing makes creating Markdown links really easy. To illustrate, I made a little screencast.
